Southeast Missouri State University marketing students recently competed in the 2021 Collegiate DECA International Career Development Conference, bringing home four finalist placements and a third place trophy.
Held virtually this year, the competition phase of the conference put into practice the students knowledge and skills.
Competing were Will Garner of Sikeston, Missouri; Spencer Govreau of Festus, Missouri; Heather Hoffman of Owensville, Missouri; Alicia Merry of St. Charles, Missouri; Bhavya Narula of New Delhi, India; David Oliver of Smithton, Illinois; Sophia White of Farmington, Missouri.

Additionally, as part of the conference, the students attended sessions to learn more about their chosen professions, participated in virtual challenges and connected with more than 1,500 other collegiate members from the USA and abroad.
