University Marketing wants to remind the campus community that work continues on redesigning the semo.edu website. University Marketing team members are reaching out to offices and departments to discuss the project over the next few weeks. The new site is anticipated to launch this summer.
As the project progresses, a few things to keep in mind:
- Portrait days are scheduled for the semester. It may be a good time to update your or your teams portraits in advance of the new site launch.
- Because were focused heavily on working on the new website, the only changes that can be made to the current site are small edits. Essentially, we want our existing site to be current and accurate, but because we are mapping the existing site to the new site, adding pages and redesigning are not possible at this time. As always, if you have small edits, be sure to fill out a ticket on the SEMO Website Request page.
- The new site will be built in a new content management system. We are switching from OU Campus to Cascade. Were working with the vendor and will be scheduling trainings later this spring. Watch Newswire for the latest.
