Southeast Prevention Resource Center Announces Upcoming Trainings

The Southeast Prevention Resource Center is hosting two training workshops in February."The Link Between Adverse Childhood Experiences and Substance Misuse (ACEs)" will be held Feb. 14 from 9-10:30 a.m. in the University Center Redhawk Room. ACEs can impact chlidren's health and well-being and cause them to have long-term effects on their health and wellness as adults. The training will help participants understand, recognize and prevent ACEs."Vaping: What Is It and Prevention Resources?" will be held Feb. 19 from 10 a.m.-noon in the University Center Ballroom A. During this workshop, participants will learn the current trends and resources, and look at a variety of vaping devices.Registration is required for both training workshops.
