Tameka Randle, assistant director of educational access and outreach programs with Southeast Missouri State Universitys Academic Support Centers, has been named to the Missouri chapter of the American College Testing State Organization Council.

It is an honor to serve on the Missouri ACT State Organization Council, Randle said. My passion has always been assisting and supporting students with achieving their education and career goals.

The Missouri ACT State Organization serves to increase awareness of academic and career advancement policy, identify innovative solutions that advance successful collaboration and support initiatives that promote the advancement of educational equity and success for all. As a member of the council, Randle will work with education and workforce professionals and policymakers across the state to advance college and career readiness.

I plan to bring the Council my educational knowledge and professional and philanthropic experiences, said Randle. Im looking forward to working with education and workforce professionals and policymakers across the state to advance college and career readiness for all.

At Southeast, Randle serves as the assistant director of the educational access and outreach programs. Her background includes serving individuals in southeast Missouri from the ages of 16 to 60 that have been disabled, dislocated, underrepresented and underserved with education and employment services. She looks forward to using the knowledge she gained from these experiences as a council member.

In February 2019, Randle was named a Missouri ACT Postsecondary Champion for her positive influence on efforts towards advancing college and career readiness. In addition, she was selected as 573 Magazines 2019 Woman of the Year.
