What You Need to Know to Find Grant Funding Opportunities (Oct. 16)
You may have heard that there is all sorts of money out there for grants, and that its free for the asking. The reality is that its a bit more complicated than that, and it all begins with identifying the right funding source. This session will provide information on why granting agencies award funds and help you to identify sponsoring agencies that may be interested in your particular project or program.

How to Prepare a Grant Proposal Budget (Oct. 30)
A proposal budget is another view of your project . . . in dollars and cents. If the proposed activity and the budget are not aligned, youre unlikely to be funded. Reviewers and funding agencies look at both the project narrative AND the budget. They generally carry equal weight. And the lowest budget is not necessarily the winner when it comes to grants!
