Special Exhibit to Feature Crisp Museum’s New Acquisitions, Old Favorites

Artwork from the Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museums permanent collection will be on display in a special exhibition opening Friday, Nov. 1, at Southeast Missouri State Universitys River Campus.

The public is invited to view the exhibition with an opening reception scheduled for 4-8 p.m. that evening. The exhibit will remain on display through Jan. 26. Admission is free.

The exhibit will feature new acquisitions and old favorites from the Museums collections.

In recent years the museums collections have grown, and this exhibitionis a great opportunity to showcase these wonderful works, said Jim Phillips, museum manager and senior curator. We are very honored to have a diverse array of archeology, history and fine artwork. Works from a wide variety of media and interests will be represented, offering something for all audiences.

The Crisp Museum is located in the Cultural Arts Center at Southeast Missouri State Universitys River Campus, located at 518 S. Fountain St. in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.
