The Southeast Missouri State University College of Education, Health and Human Studies will host a memorial service at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 9, in Rose Theatre to celebrate the life of Dr. C.P. Gause and his powerful influence on students and colleagues. A reception will follow.
Southeast faculty, staff and students are invited to the memorial service and reception, as is the local community.
Dr. Gause was chair of the Department of Leadership, Middle and Secondary Education and professor of educational leadership at Southeast. He passed away Sept. 24, following a brief illness.
Funeral services for Dr. Gause will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5, at Eau Claire Baptist Church in Columbia, South Carolina.
