The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State Universitys River Campus is hosting an Upscaled Metal Sculpture workshop Oct. 15 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
This event is free for adults and is open to the public. Supplies will be provided. A preregistration fee of $5 is due by Oct. 5.
During the workshop, local artist Bridget Jackson, helps participants select froma wide variety of metal objects, from everyday items to randomly found pieces, and use adhesives, hardware or other ways of attaching them to create unique sculptures they take with them. A theme may be suggested, but individual creativity is limitless.
