Southeast Missouri State University conferred 1,105 degrees 929 undergraduate and 176 graduate and specialists during spring commencement ceremonies May 11.

In total, 398 students graduated with honors 88 graduated summa cum laude (3.9 to 4.0 cumulative grade point average); 116 graduated magna cum laude (3.75 to 3.89 cumulative grade point average); 191 graduated cum laude (3.5 to 3.74 cumulative grade point average); and three graduated with honors in associate degrees. One student graduated with Academic Distinction in the Department of the Major, and 43 students completed the Jane Stephens Honors Program.
Missouri Gov. Michael L. Parson and Dr. Kevin Dickson, chair of the Southeast Department of Management and professor of management in the Harrison College of Business and Computing, delivered the commencement addresses.
