An enjoyable evening out, complete with dinner and a show, is now available at Southeast Missouri State Universitys River Campus thanks to its Art Cuisine dinner program.Art Cuisine offers River Campus guests the opportunity to add dinner to their theatre plans, said BobCerchio, assistant director of the Holland College of Arts and Media. It creates a package for the entire evening, he said. Instead of having to have dinner miles away and hurry to get to campus for a performance, youre within a two-minute walk."Art Cuisine" meals are crafted by Chartwells chefs and served in St. Vincents Commons at The Kenneth and Jeanine Dobbins River Campus Center. Patrons can enjoy their gourmet food in a venue overlooking the scenic Mississippi River. The meals are planned to fit with the theme of the performance, and its a very beautiful meal, saidCerchio. Audiences can enjoy a night on the town and let Art Cuisine take the stage."Art Cuisine" dinners will be held prior to the Sept. 28 performance of Jesus Christ Superstar, the Oct. 16 performance of Chinese Warriors of Peking, the Feb. 22 performance of Sister Act, the March 5 performance of "ShostakovichFifth Symphony, and the March 23 performance of Evita.
