The Chateau Girardeau Sundays at Three series opens the 2018-2019 season with Baffoni, Braddock, Lin and Lopes at 3 p.m. Aug. 26 in the Robert F. and Gertrude L. Shuck Music Recital Hall at Southeast Missouri State Universitys River Campus.Series director Gabrielle Baffoni joins forces with Ching-Yi Lin, Andy Braddock and Zachary Lopes of Western Kentucky University (WKU) to present a program of music for clarinet, violin, viola and piano.[caption id="attachment_30059" align="alignright" width="238"] Ching-Yi Lin[/caption]Baffoni is assistant professor of single reeds at Southeast and performs as principal clarinetist with the Paducah Symphony Orchestra in Kentucky, and appears regularly with the Kansas City Chamber Orchestra.While she has performed with each of these talented musicians separately, this will be the first time all four of them will come together for a chamber music program, Baffoni said.They are all great musicians and friends.
