Crisp Museum Announces First Friday ‘Make & Take’ Events

The Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum at Southeast Missouri State Universitys River Campus announces upcoming Make & Take events as part of First Friday with the Arts.The public is invited to attend, and admission is free. Supplies are provided.PapermakingApril 6, 4-8 p.m.Participants will learn how to blend colored confetti with paper pulp, strain and press it into paper.The paper dries overnight or with minimal ironing.Stick to Your PaintingJune 1, 4-8 p.m.Participants will make a painting that incorporates the use of a stick, which is glued on their piece.Live DrawingJuly 6, 4-8 p.m.Participants can draw on the spot, pose a model and sketch.The Crisp Museum is located in the Cultural Arts Center at Southeast Missouri State Universitys River Campus, located at 518 S. Fountain St. in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday to Friday (summer hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 14-Aug. 17), 1-4 p.m. on weekends and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the first Friday of the month.
