Student artworks from Southeast Missouri State University’s Art Academy’s workshops will be on display Aug. 4-27 at the Arts Council of Southeast Missouri, located at 16 North Spanish Street.
An opening reception will be held on the First Friday, Aug. 4, from 5-9 p.m.Students may pick up their artwork following the exhibit between Aug. 28- Sept. 9.
The opening and pickup for the Art Academy’s Children’s Ceramic and Young Potters’, and Pottery Exhibit is scheduled for 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 4, at the University’s Ceramic Studio, 835 Broadway. The public is invited to attend both opening locations.
TheArt Academysummer workshops are engaging and creative experiences in a wide variety of media for ages 6-adult and were held in Southeasts Department of Art studios.
About 230 students participated in this years workshops.The exhibits will include student work in ceramics, drawing, mixed media sculptures, printmaking, collages and paintings.
