Several academic departments at Southeast Missouri State University have new interim or new full-time chairs this fall. They are as follows:
- Dr. Kevin Dickson, interim chair of the Department of Management and Marketing
- Dr. Toni Alexander, interim chair of the Department of History, in addition to her duties as chair of the Department of Modern Languages, Anthropology and Geography
- Dr. Pamela Parry, chair of the Department of Mass Media
- Dr. Melissa Odegard-Koester, interim chair of the Department of Psychology
- Dr. Julie Weathers, chair of the Department of Agriculture
- Dr. Sumanth Yenduri, chair of the Department of Computer Science
