‘Pippin’ to be Performed at River Campus

Pippin will be featured as part of Southeast Missouri State Universitys Bank of Missouri Touring Series at 7:30 p.m. March 3 in the Donald C. Bedell Performance Hall at Southeasts River Campus.

Pippin Blue Logo 1It will be a sheer delight for our community to finally see one of those classic musicals that everyone talks about, said Bob Cerchio, assistant director of Southeasts Earl and Margie Holland School of Visual and Performing Arts.

Winner of four 2013 Tony Awards including Best Musical Revival, Pippin is a high-flying, death-defying hit musical full of extraordinary acrobatics, wondrous magical feats and soaring songs.

Hailed by audiences and critics alike, experience one young mans journey to be extraordinary. This unforgettable new production will lift up and leave audiences smiling.

Following its acclaimed run at Bostons American Repertory Theater, this captivating new production comes straight from Broadway, directed by Tony winner Diane Paulus. It features sizzling choreography in the style of Bob Fosse and breathtaking acrobatics by Les 7 Doigts de la Main, the creative force behind the nationwide sensation Traces.
