The Center for Speech and Hearing provides comprehensive diagnostic and intervention services for communication disorders for all ages. Our services are available to the general public. All inquiries about our service should be directed to the Center at 573-651-2050 or by selecting the "contact us" link at left.
The Center for Speech and Hearing is located on the main campus of Southeast Missouri State University and is affiliated with the Department of Communication Disorders.
Southeast Missouri State University, the Department of Communication Disorders, and the Center for Speech and Hearing are committed to providing a safe, civil and positive learning and working environment for its faculty, staff, students, and visitors, free from discrimination in any form. These laws include, but are not limited to: Title VI and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972, the Missouri Human Rights Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Equal Pay Act, the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Vietnam-Era Veterans Readjustment Act, the Genetic Information Nondiscrimination Act of 2008, and all amendments to the foregoing.
In 2017, the Center moved to a new building located on the corner of North Pacific Street and Watkins Drive, across from the Grauel Building. Parking is available in the lot immediately in front of the Center on Watkins Drive. Patrons may enter the building via the front entrance. Please sign in upon arriving for a scheduled appointment. If you do not have an appointment, please check-in with the clinic secretary.
