Administration
The leadership of Southeast Missouri State University is comprised of dedicated professionals and accomplished scholars. The University is governed by a Board of Governors appointed by Missouri’s governor. The University is led by a University president, whose Executive Staff directs divisions and units across campus.

Southeast Missouri State University’s nineteenth President, Dr. Brad Hodson brings experience in many areas of university administration and advancement to SEMO.

Board of Governors
The Board of Governors has primary responsibility for the governance of Southeast Missouri State University. Board members are appointed by the Missouri governor. Each Board member makes a commitment of time and energy to support the University.

Executive Staff
Executive Staff report directly to the president and includes Academic Affairs, Intercollegiate Athletics, and four administrative divisions—Finance & Administration, Enrollment Management & Student Success, and University Advancement — as well as two members of the president’s staff.
