It’s the feeling you get when you visit SEMO that will help you know you’re making the right college decision. When you take a campus tour, you’ll talk with our faculty, have comfortable conversations with our Admission counselors, and get all the information you need to make a confident decision. Come tour SEMO's beautiful springtime campus, talk to an admission counselor, and speak to faculty! Starting May 11, Monday - Friday at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Group Tours

Choosing a college is a big decision, and group visits make it easier to explore your options together. At SEMO, group tours give students, families, and organizations a focused, shared look at campus life. In one visit, your whole group can ask questions, compare impressions, and see why SEMO feels like the right fit for so many students!

Special Tours

Experience Twilight Hours at SEMO

Join us select Thursdays from 5 to 7 p.m. for twilight campus tours! Enjoy a 30-minute admissions presentation, guided sunset campus walk with student ambassadors, optional faculty meetings, and dinner at Copper Dome Cafe.

River Campus Tour

If you're a student interested in the Holland College of Arts and Media, join us for a walking tour of the River Campus with a student ambassador. Starting May 11, these tours take place from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday.

Pilot Program Airport Tour

Are you considering taking to the skies as a career? Come and tour our Cape Airport facility for our professional pilot students! Tours begin May 11, Monday through Friday from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Saturday Campus Tour

If you can't make it to one of the weekday tours this summer, we have Saturday options! Starting May 16, you can sign up for a Saturday Campus Tour with a student ambassador and talk to an admission counselor. Tours are from Noon to 2 p.m.

Getting Around

    Campus Map

    Where is parking on campus? Where is the building we need to get to? What is the campus layout if we just want to walk around? The campus map has you covered. Find buildings, visitor parking, or just use it to find landmarks.

    Where to Stay

    If you plan to be in town for a day or two and need a place to lay your head in between exploring SEMO and Cape, there are plenty of places to sleep in and around Cape Girardeau.

    While you're visiting campus, we always encourage you to have a meal at one of our dining facilities so you can get an idea of what it's like to live on campus. But there are plenty of great restaurants in Cape to try out during your visit.

    Don't miss some of the best events in Cape during your visit. Use the opportunity to take in a ball game, visit the farmers market, or attend other local events unique to Cape.
