Assistant Professor — Biology
Research interest: Shariful Lab in SEMO biology is working on the impact of pH changes and the impact of transition metals on the infections by muti-drug resistant pathogenic bacterial strains of Staphylococcus aureus and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. Additionally, Shariful Lab is working on the development of an in vitro plant infection model in liquid environments to study the metal homeostasis requirements for host-parasite interactions.
