The First-year Leadership Program -- FYLP (pronounced flip) is a series of workshops offered each fall semester for students to explore their personal leadership style and learn to capitalize on their innate leadership strengths through fun and engaging activities led by upper-class student facilitators.

FYLP participants attend 6 two-hour leadership sessions held on Mondays from 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. in the University Center Ballroom. 2018 FYLP began on Monday, September 10, 2018,  with graduation on Monday, October 22, 2018.

FYLP is open to students who have less than 60 credit hours, are in good academic and judicial standing, and register by the deadline. Registration for 2019 FYLP will be open June 2019.
