Brass Day at Southeast Missouri State University is a great opportunity for brass players to learn from accomplished artists and polish their skills.

Tentative Schedule

  • 8 a.m. – Registration Opens
  • 9 a.m. – Artists Recital
  • 10:10 a.m. – Section Warm-Ups
  • 10:45 a.m. – Mass Brass Ensemble
  • 11:30 a.m. – Presentation/Masterclass
  • Noon – Lunch on your own
  • 1:30 p.m. – Masterclass – Instrument Specific
  • 2:30 p.m. – Mass Brass Rehearsal
  • 3:15 p.m. – Activity TBD
  • 4 p.m. – Q and A / chop break
  • 4:30 p.m. – Final Concert

Brass Day

Participation is open to brass players from all ages and ability levels. Come one, come all! Please bring your instrument and mouthpiece to the day. Everything else will be provided. Dress for the day is casual. Invite your brass-playing friends. Early Bird registration ends November 4!
