Since opening its doors in the summer of 1987, the Show Me Center has served Southeast Missouri State University, the City of Cape Girardeau, and the citizens of Southeast Missouri, Southern Illinois, and Western Kentucky by providing quality concerts, sporting events, top-notch family entertainment, and a first-rate banquet, convention, and meeting facility.

The Show Me Center is located in Cape Girardeau, Missouri and is the home court for the Redhawks varsity men's and women's basketball teams of Southeast Missouri State University. Additionally, the Show Me Center is the entertainment, and meeting hub for the 250,000 residents of the tri-state region. Conveniently located halfway between St. Louis and Memphis, the Show Me Center is easily accessible by land on Interstate 55, and by air through the Cape Girardeau airport with regularly scheduled regional flights.

Due to its unique design, the Show Me Center is versatile enough to stage multiple events simultaneously, and flexible enough to host a rodeo one evening and basketball game the next.
