RN to BSN completion
The completion program in nursing recognizes the prior nursing knowledge and experience of licensed registered nurses (RNs) through advanced placement into the nursing curriculum, allowing a fast and flexible path to your Bachelor's degree. Please be aware that students must be a permanent resident of Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky or Arkansas.

The Master of Science in Management degree is especially well suited for people who do not have a major in business administration at the undergraduate level, but are employed in positions with managerial responsibilities.
MPA in Public Administration
All students take 21 hours of Master of Public Administration core courses, an additional 12 hours of electives, and complete an internship or thesis (3 hours). All required courses will be completed on campus at Southeast Missouri State University or via web-based instruction.
MBA in Sport Management
Students who are interested in the Sport Management dimensions of business desire an option in Sport Management in the MBA program which requires at least 33 hours.

ESOL certification allows teachers to enhance their ability to address the needs of limited English proficient children in the K-12 classroom. Prospective students must hold a valid teaching certificate in the state of Missouri and have prior coursework in Teaching Reading in the Content Areas and Psychology of the Exceptional Child. Missouri State (DESE) requirements for the ESOL Certification program include 21 hours of coursework in the areas of Theories of Second and Foreign Language Learning, Methods and Techniques of TESOL, Materials and Assessment of TESOL, Linguistics, Sociolinguistics, and Practicum in TESOL.
The undergraduate certificate from Southeast introduces the student pursuing any major to the practices and principles of ESOL as well as the study of language and culture. Students complete 15 hours of coursework that include four modules: Linguistics, Language Acquisition, Methods and Techniques for Teaching ESOL, and Language and Culture.
The Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Certificate Program enables students to attain knowledge and skills essential in making a positive impact on individuals with ASD. The increasing prevalence and large research-to-practice gap in educational programs drives this critical need. We offer a 15 credit hour certificate program that is available as an add-on to an undergraduate degree or can be incorporated into a graduate degree. The courses are also available to non-degree seeking students wanting to learn more and make a positive impact on individuals with ASD. Courses are taught as online courses with opportunities to meet face-to-face if desired.
