Our goal is not only to meet the needs of highly-motivated, academically-exceptional students, but also to encourage the pursuit of their scholarly and creative goals. Students in the Honors Program can expect more individualized attention from their instructors, educational opportunities tailored to their interests and aspirations, and to work with a team of dedicated Honors professionals whose aim is to ensure an experience that is both academically rigorous and personally fulfilling.

Student Research Conference

Each year this conference showcases research from both undergraduate and graduate students across all disciplines. You as students get the chance to professionally present your research to others.

Application for Admission to the Honors Program

Admission

To be admitted to the program, your cumulative GPA must be 3.50 or higher with at least 15 credit hours completed, including transfer hours. Students with fewer than 15 hours of college credit must have either at least a 3.75 GPA (on a 4.0 scale, or its equivalent), or have a 3.50-3.74 GPA and an ACT score of 27 or higher. Incoming freshmen students who do not initially meet these requirements will be able to apply for acceptance into the program when/if they meet the GPA and course completion conditions.
