The Will To Do Award covers remaining costs after applying Pell, Access Missouri, and other tuition-specific grants/scholarships.

We created the Will To Do Award because about 40% of our students receive Pell grants, but we understand that it isn’t always enough to pay for college. And, we think everyone should have access to an education.

Here's how it works:

A Federal Pell Grant is money from the federal government to pay for your education. It is a grant, not a loan. The amount is based on your family’s income.

The Will To Do Award ensures you will pay $0 in Tuition and General Fees by covering any remaining amount after applying Pell, Access Missouri, and other tuition-specific grants/scholarships.

This means you’d pay $0 in tuition and general fees.

Southeast combines real-world learning experiences in our curriculum so your first day on the job isn't your first day doing that job. Combine that with our affordable cost and generous scholarship program and we're living proof that high quality doesn't have to mean high tuition.

Cybersecurity. Unmanned Aircraft Systems. Arts-only Campus. Yep, we did it first in Missouri. International Business Competitions. Debate. Newspaper. Yep, we've been named tops in them all. Southeast is one of the most accredited institutions in the state. Meaning what we do best is helping you learn what you'll do best.

At Southeast, we do want to make sure you get plenty of rest, if only to have more energy for enriching our campus.  A recreation center, an aquatic center, student organizations, Greek life, honors program, and multiple leadership academies mean whatever type of joiner you want to be, there’s a group waiting for you.

If you’re into a sport, we have a team for you to cheer. And, we do expect you to cheer. We play to compete, but these teams are as focused in the classroom and in the community as on their sports, sponsoring a kids carnival and camps, supporting breast cancer awareness, and hosting the community at many pre-game activities including the Redhawks Walk before all home football games.
