The University official letterhead is of a standardized design format and is printed on Cougar 70# Smooth Text. Imprinting for colleges is available through The Printing Co. Imprinting for organizations below the college level is not permitted.
Envelopes are printed on Cougar 70# Smooth Text and are available in the styles listed below. Envelopes may be imprinted with department name, mail stop, and index number. The official envelope design may not be deviated from in any manner.
Invitations/notecards are printed on Cougar 80# Smooth Text unless 100# Smooth Text is requested (no additional charge). Notecards may be purchased with or without print inside. 100# Smooth Text will not work in most desktop printers. Three styles are available.
Although the standard size is 4 ¼” x 5 1/2”, other sizes may be requested from The Printing Co.
Message sheets are available for intracampus correspondence. Message sheets may be imprinted with an individual’s name, department, mail stop, phone number, and/or email address.
The use of a mailing label is intended for correspondence that requires large envelopes or packages. The mailing label is a standardized design. Deviation from the standard design is not permitted.
Two business card designs are available: horizontal with a red or white back and vertical with a red or white back. Only given names without prefixes (Mr., Mrs., Ms., Dr., etc.) may be used. Suffixes may be added to indicate professional credentials (certification and/or degrees).
Business cards may be printed in quantities of 100, 250, 500, and 1,000. To order business cards, complete the order form and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org or MS 7695. Emailed forms do not require a signature.
Deviation from the standardized designs is not permitted.
The University has a standardized name tag for employees and students. Only official names, titles, units, etc. may be displayed on the name tag, which may be purchased through Namark Products Company by completing the order form and emailing it to email@example.com. Namark purchases should be paid with a p-card. If your department doesn't have a p-card, you may use the direct pay process. The account code is 707450 (office supplies).
For the convience of faculty and staff, the University has provided email signature generators. Simply copy and paste the genereated signature into your email client.
