Torie has been a counselor at Southeast since 2010. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor, and she is a member of the American Counseling Association. She has a MA degree in Mental Health Counseling from Southeast Missouri State University. Torie's professional interests include suicide prevention, crisis intervention, eating disorders, body image concerns, relationships, LGBTQ concerns, and mindfulness. Torie's therapeutic interests are the integration of Humanistic and Cognitive theories with an emphasis on strengths based interventions.
