Women's Issues

For eight weeks during the spring, Megan Murray will be hosting a new Women's Issues Discussion Series. During these sessions, students, faculty and staff will be introduced to that days topic by a local expert for approximately 15 minutes, then the remainder of the time will be spent discussing the days topic or other women’s issues that the participants would like to discuss. This series will not only give participants a rare chance to discuss these issues, but it will also give us another opportunity to connect with and network with our students!

These sessions will be on Wednesdays from 12-1pm in the University Center and participants are encouraged to bring their lunch (lemonade and cookies will be provided). Participants can come to one session or all and no sign-up is required. Everyone is welcome, regardless of gender (we’ll even have a session specifically for male feminists with a male presenter!).
