I believe in hands-on learning, trial and error, and that no two students are the same.
Why did you decide to teach?
I enjoy taking the excitement that students bring about theatre and giving them the skills and tools to express their artistry through built environments on stage and storytelling through physical objects.
Credentials/career path
I have taught high school and university. I have freelanced at theatres across the country. I taught at Texas A&M University for 6 years. I have managed entire theatre companies. I regularly speak to national audiences at conference.
Professional Highlight
I co-founded a summer theatre company with a grad student that ran for 4 seasons
