Arlo Ehly received his BM in Music Education from Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove,
PA and his MS in Arts Administration from Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. During
his undergraduate program, he studied organ and harpsichord with Dr. Marcos Krieger
and piano with Drs. Naomi Niskala and Chi-Chen Wu. Prior to joining the Dobbins Conservatory
staff, he taught music theory at Pennsbury High School in Fairless Hills, PA and accompanied
rehearsals and performances for the vocal music department. As a freelance accompanist,
Arlo has played for numerous musical theatre productions, choral concerts, and recitals
throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey. He was also the music director and pianist
for two seasons with Gold Rush Productions in Skagway, AK for The Days of ’98 Show
with Soapy Smith. In addition to his accompanying work, Arlo has served as organist
for several churches and maintains an active status in the American Guild of Organists.
