The Jeanine Larson Dobbins Conservatory of Theatre and Dance invites Southeast dance alumni to participate in the Dance Alumni Celebration - 10 years of the River Campus Friday, April 7 and Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the River Campus of Southeast Missouri State University.
This two-day event features dance alumni teaching master classes, tours of the beautiful River Campus, Spring into Dance 2017 performance, a social gathering for re-connecting, and a panel discussion on dance by successful teachers, performers, choreographers and entrepreneurs. The concert performers and master class alumni teachers include Zak McMahon (2012), Kelcey Matheny (2013), Amy Coyle (2015), Thomas Proctor (2013), and Caitlin Fields (2013).
The event is an opportunity for alumni to enjoy a weekend of dance reconnecting with peers and faculty and witnessing the growth of the Southeast dance program. Alumni will remember the fun times and incredible memories they made with friends who became their ‘dance family’.
The celebration is designed to bring together current and future alumni, as well as community members. All of the master classes and the panel discussion on Saturday, April 8th are free and open to the public. From Southeast Redhawks returning home to members of the Cape Girardeau community to current students enrolled in the dance program, the event will be one that all will remember.
