TOEIC - Test of English for International Communication

The TOEIC® Listening and Reading test measures a person's ability to listen and read in English, using a variety of contexts from real-world settings. The TOEIC exam is a paper and pencil test, multiple-choice assessment consisting of two timed sections of100 questions each.

Section I: Listening

Test takers listen to a variety of questions and short conversations recorded in English. There is four parts that consists of photographs, question-responses, conversations, and short talks. The section is timed at 45 minutes.

Section II: Reading

Test takers read a variety of material and respond at their own pace. There are three parts that consists of incomplete sentences, error recognition or text completion, and reading comprehension. The section is timed at 75 minutes.

Registration must be received at least two weeks prior to test date.

Call Testing Service (573) 651-2836 for available test date. Please include the address to where the official score report is to be sent. Test dates are listed in the registration form.

If you are a Southeast Missouri State University student taking a test through Testing Services, applicable fees will be charged to your student account. Non-Southeast Students may pay their fee by cash or pay by using a debit/credit card at the Cashier's Office in Academic Hall. Report to Testing Services for the proper debit/credit card charge form before going to the chashier's Office.
