Do you plan to attend one of Southeast's Regional Campuses (Sikeston
)? If so, this information is for you! Before you jump in,
it is important to realize that you are also a Prospective/Incoming Freshman
or a Continuing Student
. You should begin there!
After you review one of those sections, come back here and review the unique details
for Regional Campus students!
Are you a student from the Sikeston or Kennett area and want to stay close to home
for your college degree? Southeast Missouri State University has a campus in each
of these locations for your convenience. As a student at a regional campus you will pay less for your lower level courses (000-299)
than classes taken on the Cape campus. When reviewing the fee schedule make sure to review the South Campuses, lower-level rate. Online classes are considered
Cape campus, and are not charged at the reduced rate.
While Southeast does not participate in the state A+ program, students attending a
regional campus, who completed the A+ program in high school, can receive the Southeast A+ Scholarship (info near bottom of page)
, which closely mimics the state scholarship.
All students can apply for endowed and sponsored scholarships. There are special endowed
scholarships available to students attending regional campuses.
Important Things to Remember:
- Student Financial Services is housed on the Cape campus located in Cape Girardeau,
MO. While your local campus may be able to assist you with general questions, they
do not have access to your financial records. Please verify all financial aid and
billing issues with Student Financial Services.
- Tuition is billed based on the number of credit hours in which you are enrolled. The
more classes, the more it costs.
- Your first tuition bill will be mailed to your permanent address. After that, billing
statements are sent to your Southeast email address and can be viewed online through
SEMO-Pay. SEMO-Pay offers an online ‘Account Summary’ allowing you to view the entire account history and make online payments. A printable
‘Online Schedule Bill’ is available once the semester begins.
- If your bill is not paid on time, then you may be cancelled from your course(s). If
you are cancelled for non-payment, contact us immediately, to determine if reinstatement
is an option.
- Make sure to check your Southeast email regularly, as official billing correspondence
will be sent there.
