Yes, virtually! However, our office in Academic Hall is closed at this time and our Admissions staff is working from home.

Currently, the only visit option is a virtual one. We have added several videos and photos to help you get to know us. And, we’d love to host a virtual meeting with you. Southeast admission counselors, faculty, staff, and current students are regularly talking with students and families via Zoom.
Yes! Applications are still being accepted for fall 2020 and we have extended our scholarship deadline to June 1 for the $1,000 to $3,000 Copper Dome Scholarship and $1,000 Residence Life Leadership Award. You can apply online with $0 application fee for summer/fall 2020 undergraduate domestic freshman and transfer students.
Admission will be based on the best information you can provide. Acceptable proof of grades includes an official high school transcript with 6th or 7th semester GPA or a self-reported GPA. We will ask you to submit a final high school transcript upon graduation, and when your school is able to process the request. Southeast will not rescind admission of fall 2020 students whose final cumulative grade point average falls below a normally acceptable level. Support services will be offered to students requesting additional academic guidance and support.
Southeast does not use class rank for admissions or scholarship consideration.
Southeast has implemented test optional admission criteria for 2020 high school graduates. View our freshman admission guidelines.
Southeast will consider either 6th or 7th semester cumulative GPA for admissions and scholarship consideration.
Yes, there is no change to Southeast’s policy for acceptance of dual credit.
We encourage you to discuss your readiness for college-level work with an academic advisor during new student orientation. Southeast will offer an online/remote orientation and registration program for fall 2020 students. You can sign up for an orientation date.
Yes, if you need to complete additional coursework to fulfill a core curriculum deficiency, the course can be completed during the summer, either through Southeast or with another college/university.

Due to health and safety concerns and current social gathering restrictions, in-person First STEP and Transfer Orientation programs scheduled through June 30 have been cancelled. First STEP Orientation and Transfer Orientation for Fall 2020 has been moved to a hybrid model that will feature online, individual phone/Zoom appointments, and in person components when it is safe to do so.
