Your philosophy of teaching:
Students need a variety of teaching methods offer whether sitting in a traditional classroom or some version of online learning. I like to provide visual, auditory, and hands on learning opportunities. I use story illustrations to connect course material to practical, real-life settings that students have and/or will encounter in their personal and professional lives. I believe that knowledge can be sought out and researched, so I give all exams online.
Why did you decide to teach?
It just felt right from the first day that I walked into the classroom. I love teaching skills that everyone needs and will use for the rest of their lives. Hence.... why I love teaching child development and family finance.

Best advice for students
Unplug and enjoy nature. Go outdoors, connect with nature, connect with real people. Study in short chunks rather than pulling an all night "cram session". It never works!
