This course is four hours and costs $25. It is included in the CEU Contract Program at no additional cost. It will be held in the Law Enforcement Academy classroom at 122 S. Ellis Street in Cape Girardeau.
This course deals with the importance of acting ethically and professionally as a law enforcement officer. It discusses the fair treatment of the people we serve, and the officers we work with. It also discusses the motives and ethics of gratuities, and the dangers they imply.

"Students attending Continuing Education programs sponsored by the Southeast Missouri State University Law Enforcement Academy must attend all of the regular blocks of instruction in order to receive a certificate of completion. In Continuing Education Programs, which consist of discreet blocks of instruction, the student may receive continuing education credits for those blocks which are actually completed."
