On April 25, 1999, Chapter 260 of the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi unveiled the Wall of Academic Fame in Academic Hall on the Southeast Missouri State University campus. The ceremony was a featured event of the University's 125th Anniversary Showcase Month. Dr. Nancy Blattner, past president of Phi Kappa Phi Chapter 260 and Faculty Senate Chair at the time, spearheaded the Wall of Academic Fame project and officiated at the ceremony and wall unveiling.
The Wall of Academic Fame is located in the main hallway of Academic Hall, just outside the Office of the Provost. The centerpiece of the wall is the framed charter of the local chapter of Phi Kappa Phi, which is surrounded by smaller plaques, one representing each academic honor society at Southeast.
