Hi, my name is Darian Norfleet, and I have been a member of the admissions team since July 2021. I primarily work with students from Central and Northern Illinois, Chicago, West Kentucky, Northwest Tennessee, and Out-of-State.

I am originally from Memphis, Tennessee but moved to Cape Girardeau, Missouri in 2017 to pursue my bachelor’s degree. During my time as an undergraduate student, I worked as a resident assistant in the dorms on campus, and I was also a student teacher at the University School for Young Children. In May 2021 I graduated cum laude from Southeast with a Bachelor of Science degree in Child Development.

It was during my undergraduate years that I discovered a passion for helping students. As I continue to seek knowledge to be a better resource for prospective students and their families, I am currently pursuing a graduate certificate in Trauma & Resiliency Studies at the University.
