How do I set up a one-on-one appointment?
Contact the Redhawk Health Educator advisor at 651-2367. Please leave a message if no one answers and we will get to you as soon as possible.
How do I request a program for a group or organization?
If you want to request a program, the first thing you need to do is go to www.semo.edu/peered. Next, click on a link that says "Request a program." You can view some of our commonly presented programs and choose which best fits your needs. Additionally, you can request a combination of programs or if we don't have something you want, we will be happy to create a program for you. Please be as detailed as possible in your request form.
When should I have my request in by?
We'd like your request in two weeks before you want your program. That gives us enough time process your request, find a peer educator who is available and confirm date, time and location.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule my program?
If you need to cancel your program, please inform the peer who volunteered to do your program. If you cannot reach them, please contact Recreation Services at 573-651-2105. If rescheduling, you will also need to resubmit a program request for the new date.
What if I requested a program and I haven't heard anything?
Someone from Fitness and Wellness office should have contacted you within a week of your program request submission, whether we are available to do your program or not. If it's been over a week and you haven't heard anything, please contact Recreation Services at 573-651-2105 (Please excuse holidays and breaks when students will not be in class).
How will the person presenting my program contact me?
We request our peers contact you thorough e-mail, that way everyone has a written record for future reference.
