The Redhawk Health Educators are a group of Southeast students who are Certified Peer Educators ready to help you or your group explore topics on health and wellness. Student health educators are available through the Center for Behavioral Health and Accessibility to lead engaging programs with peers via Zoom in a variety of wellness topics. Group leaders pick up supplies from the Center prior to the program date and the peer educator is available to facilitate the program live via Zoom. These peer-led programs are excellent for residence hall communities, Greek chapters, UI100 classes, student organizations and clubs, outside campus organizations, and anyone else who is interested in learning more about one or more of these topics.

Looking for an interactive and fun wellness program for your student organization? The Redhawk Health Educators are here to serve. Sign up for one of these free programs offered to all Southeast student groups and organizations.

The Condom Call

Stop keeping things a secret and let’s talk about sex! Sometimes college is a time of some uncertainty and confusion about sex and sexual activity. Let our Redhawk Health Educators come and educate and answer questions on how to maintain good sexual health and take the proper precautions on sexual behavior and preventing STIs. Also, learn about important contraceptive devices and decorate condoms for fun. Sign up for this program here.

Experience the freedom of discovering your authentic self! Most of us wear a mask, a persona, an external face that hides our insecurities and deepest feelings. We present ourselves as always happy, put together, and in control. This expressive arts program will help you unveil your authentic self and learn skills to see others as they truly are.
