  • In general, it takes 120 credit hours to graduate with a bachelor's degree. Your degree includes a core set of 42 general education credit hours and at least 39 hours of upper-level credits specific to your program.
  • Do you have an Associate of Art degree or bachelor's degree from a regionally-accredited institution? If so, the core 42 general education credit hours should have been met.
  • To earn a degree from Southeast Missouri State University, you must complete 30 hours with our institution, no matter how many credits you have earned elsewhere.
