Rosemary Berkel and Harry L. Crisp II Museum Curator of Collections, Jim Phillips, has selectively chosen the pieces for July's fine art exhibit, "Selections from the Permanent Collection" to be displayed June 28-July 21, 2013.
Works on display are created in a variety of mediums and depict both realism and the
abstract. Several printmaking processes are illustrated along with photography. The
paintings include both oils and watercolors.
The exhibition includes works by Tim Andrews, Tom Azplund, Violet Baxter, Carolyn Brady, Carolyn Crain, E. Ehrmann, Joseph Amadeus Fleck, John Ford, Paul Georges, Riva Helfond, Jane Hinton, Ava Maria, Michael Mazure, Roscoe Misselhorn, Otto Newman, Ivan Schiefudecker, Fritz Scholder, John C. Smodley, Robert Stackhouse and Walter Williams.
The Crisp Museum is located in the Cultural Arts Center at Southeast Missouri State
University’s River Campus, 518 S. Fountain St., Cape Girardeau, Missouri. For more
