Dr. Mangho and Mevi Ahuja Scholarship

Recipient must be a student majoring in mathematics or math education with a 3.2 GPA in his or her math courses and active and enthusiastic about Problem Solving.

Dr. James T. Bruening Memorial Scholarship

Will be awarded to student(s) in Junior year of undergraduate studies at time the application is submitted or graduate student(s) in the College of Science, Technology and Agriculture, with a minimum GPA of 3.0. Majoring in mathematics.

Clarence Dalton Scholarship

Open to mathematics majors with a 2.75 GPA who are members of the Southeast Missouri State University track or basketball team. Proof of affiliation with the track or basketball team is required with application. Applicants must be at least a second semester sophomore, and must have completed at least one year in residence on the campus at Southeast. Scholarship is a $100 award for the spring semester. Deadline is October 15th.

Keith and Margie Deimund Scholarship

The recipient of this scholarship will be a student enrolled at Southeast Missouri State University majoring in mathematics with financial need verified by FAFSA.

Kenneth and Dorothy Green Endowed Scholarship

The recipient of this scholarship will be a student enrolled at Southeast Missouri State University and majoring in mathematics or math education.

John C. Fox, Jr. Memorial Scholarship

The recipient of this scholarship will be a student enrolled at Southeast Missouri State University pursuing a degree in mathematics with an actuarial science option, applied mathematics/statistics option, mathematics education option, or pure mathematics option. This scholarship is renewable, but recipients must reapply each year.

Dr. Harold and Jeanine Hager Mathematics Scholarship

The recipient of this scholarship shall be an undergraduate or graduate major in the Department of Mathematics and will be chosen by the Department. The recipient will maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0, and academic merit will be the prime consideration.

B. F. and Carrie Woodburn Johnson Scholarship

Open to mathematics majors and elementary education majors specializing in mathematics.  Applicants must complete at least three courses above MA-135 and have a minimum 3.0 GPA.  Financial need is a consideration. Renewable with application. Selected by the Department of Mathematics.

Russell and Elnora Michel Mathematics Scholarship

Student must be mathematics major. Scholarship is based on academic performance and selected by Scholarship Committee. Renewable with application if previous year’s recipient still meets criteria. Selected by the Department of Mathematics.

Dorothy Laws Miles Scholarship

To be awarded to a mathematics major with a 3.0 GPA. Financial need is not a requirement. Renewable with application. Selected by the College of Science and Mathematics Scholarship Committee.

Carmen Chang Ortiz Memorial Scholarship

Open to math majors with financial need.  Automatically renewable. Selected by the Department of Mathematics.

Leonard and Patsy Palmer Endowed Math Scholarship

The recipient of this scholarship will be a student enrolled at Southeast Missouri State University with a minimum GPA of 3.0. It will be awarded to a student with a declared major in mathematics.

Walter Roth Mathematics Scholarship

The recipient of this scholarship is available to students who are majoring in mathematics at Southeast Missouri State University. To be eligible for this scholarship, a student must have completed 24 hours at the University with a GPA of 3.0 or higher and must have declared a major in math. First preference will be given to an individual who has declared a major in math and a minor in accounting who meets all other requirements.

Louis B. Sewell Endowed Math Scholarship

The recipient of this scholarship must be a student enrolled at Southeast Missouri State University pursuing a degree in mathematics or math education who maintains a minimum 2.75 GPA. First preference will be given to a student from Southeast Missouri.

Grace N. Williams Scholarship

Open to students with financial need pursuing a degree in education with a major in math. Preference will be given to applicants in the field of secondary education. Renewable with application. Selected by the Department of Mathematics.
