MA in Higher Education Administration: Sport Management

This program seeks to prepare students to utilize business strategies and management principles in sport organization applications. The Master of Business administration is housed in the Harrison College of Business and computing. The 12 hour option offered by faculty in the Department of Kinesiology, Nutrition and Recreation is designed for MBA students who are interested in working in the sport industry to give them a differential advantage over those with a general business education or those with sport management education without business. Students take the common core courses in the MBA program and courses in the sport management option. Coursework in the sport management option emphasizes the practices, principles of sport management option in the context of spectator sports.
