Southeast Missouri State University is committed to providing a safe environment for all members of the University community, and treats all reports of sexual violence with priority attention.
If you would like to report an incident of sexual harassment, sexual violence, relationship violence, stalking, or related misconduct, to the police, please call 911.
Similarly, if you would like to report an incident of sexual harassment, sexual violence, relationship violence, stalking, or related misconduct, to University officials, please call the Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity at (573) 651-2524, or use the link to the online report form below.
A report generated using the online form will be evaluated by the Office of the Dean of Students, then forwarded to the appropriate University personnel, which may include officials from the Office of Student Conduct, the Office of Institutional Equity and Diversity, the Department of Public Safety, the Campus Violence Prevention Program, and/or the Office of Center for Behavioral Health and Accessibility.
Please note, reporting parties may make on official report to University officials to have the case handled through the University student conduct or Human Resources procedures, to the Department of Public Safety to have the case handled as a criminal matter, or both. Investigations can be conducted independently through both options, and assistance to reporting parties obtained through both options.
