SE Key Activation
Accounts & Passwords

Although the SE Key has been pre-assigned, it must be activated prior to use.

Activate your Southeast Key

  1. Go to https://app.semo.edu/sekey/SignIn.asp.
  2. Enter your Southeast ID number.
  3. Enter your PIN (birth day and last two digits of birth year. Ex: May, 8, 1990 => 0890).
  4. Click "Sign In."
  5. Enter your desired new password twice. Remember to follow the password rules:
    • Minimum 12 characters
    • Maximum 32 characters
    • Must contain at least one character from three of the following four groups, including spaces:
      • uppercase letters: A-Z
      • lower case letters: a-z
      • numeric digits: 0-9
      • special characters: ~ ` ! # $ % * ( ) _ + - = { } [ ] : ' ; ? , . /
    • Spaces are allowed, but none at the beginning or ending of the password.
    • System will check for words not allowed.
  6. Click "Submit."

Change your Southeast Key Password

  1. Go to https://app.semo.edu/sekey/SignIn.asp.
  2. Enter your Southeast Key.
  3. Enter your current password.
  4. Click "Sign In."
  5. Click "Chg Password."
  6. Enter your desired new password twice. Remember to follow the password rules:
    • Minimum 12 characters
    • Maximum 32 characters
    • Must contain at least one character from three of the following four groups, including spaces:
      • uppercase letters: A-Z
      • lower case letters: a-z
      • numeric digits: 0-9
      • special characters: ~ ` ! # $ % * ( ) _ + - = { } [ ] : ' ; ? , . /
    • Spaces are allowed, but none at the beginning or ending of the password.
    • System will check for words not allowed.
  7. Click "Change."
