Use the Southeast Key Maintenance tool to change your Southeast Key password.

Forgot Your Southeast Key Password

  1. Go to https://app.semo.edu/sekey/reset.asp.
  2. Enter your SE Key (rredhawk1s).
  3. Enter your Southeast ID number (Ex. S09999999).
  4. Enter your PIN, which is the two digit day and two digit year of your birth. For example, if you were born March 16, 1990, your PIN is 1690.
  5. Click Submit.
  6. Select a phone number or email address to recieve a verification code.
  7. Click Submit.
  8. Enter the code.
  9. Enter the new password
    • Minimum 12 characters
    • Maximum 32 characters
    • Must contain at least one character from three of the following four groups:
      • uppercase letters: A-Z
      • lower case letters: a-z
      • numeric digits: 0-9
      • special characters: ~ ` ! # $ % * ( ) _ + - = { } [ ] : ' ; ? , . /
    • Spaces are allowed, but none at the beginning or ending of the password.
    • System will check for words not allowed.
  10. Click Submit.
  11. Enter the password again.
  12. Click Submit.
