Regardless of why you've chosen to go separate ways, we're sad to see you go. Leaving is always hard, but we'd like to make it as smooth and pleasant as possible. The information on this page will help you adapt to your new life, as the way that you access certain university services will soon change or cease.

Portal

Even after leaving the university, your account will remain active indefinitely. This enables prior students to access their academic records, W-2 forms, and other such important and official documents.

E-Mail

As a student leaving the university, your E-Mail account will remain active for one year. Rather than waiting until the last moment, back up your data promptly and begin transitioning to a different email account to avoid any issues.

Office 365

As with E-Mail, your Office privileges will remain active for one year. This includes access to Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel and Powerpoint, as well as OneDrive cloud-storage, and additional applications such as Teams and Planner.
In order to maintain access to primary Microsoft Office products, please purchase any necessary software using a personal, non-academic E-Mail account. Files stored in OneDrive should be downloaded to a personal device.

Portal

Even after leaving the university, your account will remain active indefinitely. This enables prior employees to access their pay stubs, W-2 forms, and other such important and official documents.

E-Mail

For faculty, E-Mail is handled case-by-case, based on what manner the employee is leaving. If an employee has decided to retire, they will keep access to their E-Mail account indefinitely. However, if that employee has resigned in a traditional manner, their account will be closed immediately, effective their last day.

Office 365

Regardless of the manner of your departure, your access to Microsoft Office products (with the exception of Microsoft Outlook as mentioned above) will be immediately revoked after your last day.
In order to maintain access to primary Microsoft Office products, please purchase any necessary software using a personal, non-academic E-Mail account. Files stored in OneDrive should be downloaded to a personal device.
