Use the linked form to make a IT Computer Lab Reservation. Complete your reservation early to ensure availability (Confirmations of reservations will be sent after reservations are made) Training is required of all presenters. The training is lab specific. Training review is recommended for those that have not used the lab for instructional purposes within the last year.
Reservations for the Kent Training Lab will not be made for the fall semester until August 1 or for spring until January 2.
You are not allowed to install computer software on the training lab computers. If software installation is required, please provide software license documentation that states this type of installation or an installation for this use is allowed. Once the software media and licensing is received, it may take 2-3 weeks for installation and proper testing. Please plan accordingly.
The labs are free for Southeast Missouri State University faculty, staff, and enrolled student trainings. Off campus, camps, and other uses will be charged a usage fee of $25 per hour of use. If you are not sure if your use would be considered a chargeable reservation, please contact the IT Help Desk at 651-4357.
***IT Open Labs are not available for teaching purposes without reservation. Prior to making your reservation, review all pertinent information below that pertains to the reservation process.
Kent Training Lab is operated by the Information Technology Department and is available to Southeast
faculty or staff for training reservations each semester. The Kent Training Lab is
located in Kent Library, room 110, with an east side exterior entrance only. All 28 computers are networked and offer Windows 10, Microsoft Office
Suite, Internet applications, and other departmental specific programs.
