How to obtain the MAC Address for popular consoles

Nintendo Wii


Nintendo's Wii Console does not support our corporate Wireless network. You are required to use an Ethernet connection for internet connectivity.
You will need a USB to Ethernet adapter for Ethernet functionality on the Wii*

1. From the Wii Channel menu, select Wii Options. (The round "Wii" icon in the bottom left of the screen)
2. Select Wii Settings.
3. Scroll to the right to "Wii System Settings 2" and select Internet.
4. Select Console Information
5. The wired MAC Address of the Wii console is displayed under the LAN Adapter Mac Address.
6. Finally you will need to register that MAC Address on splat.semo.edu/gameconsoles.

Nintendo Wii U


Nintendo's Wii U Console does not support our corporate Wireless network. You are required to use an Ethernet connection for internet connectivity.
You will need a USB to Ethernet adapter for Ethernet functionality on the Wii U*

1. On your Wii U GamePad, go to the Wii U Menu and select System Settings
2. Choose the option Internet
3. Select View MAC Address
4. The MAC Address you want to find is the LAN Adapter MAC Address
5. Finally you will need to register that MAC Address on splat.semo.edu/gameconsoles.

Playstation 3


Sony's Playstation 3 does not support our corporate Wireless network. You are required to use an Ethernet connection for internet connectivity.

1. Select Settings on the Home Menu
2. Navigate down and select System Settings
3. Select System Information. Here you will find your MAC Address for registration
4. Finally you will need to register that MAC Address on splat.semo.edu/gameconsoles.

Playstation 4


Sony's Playstation 4 does not support our corporate Wireless network. You are required to use an Ethernet connection for internet connectivity.

1. Select Settings on the Advanced Menu
2. Navigate down and select Network
3. Open the View Connection Status Menu
4. The MAC Address should be listed on the screen
5. Finally you will need to register that MAC Address on splat.semo.edu/gameconsoles.

Xbox 360


Microsoft's Xbox 360 does not support our corporate Wireless network. You are required to use an Ethernet connection for internet connectivity.

1. Open the Settings
2. Select Network Settings
3. Select Wired Network
4. Select Configure Network
5. Select Additional Settings
6. Select Advanced Settings
7. Your Xbox's MAC Address should be listed
8. Finally you will need to register that MAC Address on splat.semo.edu/gameconsoles.

Xbox One

3. Select Advanced Settings
